Yesterday Avery kicked off the month of June with her 14-year doctor’s appointment. Here are her latest stats:

Weight – 94.2 pounds, an increase of 17.4 pounds since last year (17th percentile).
Height – 58.75 inches, an increase of 2.5 inches since last year (3rd percentile).

Dr. Roscoe said Avery has at least two to three years of growing left to do. She’s glad to know that she hasn’t reached her final height yet!

When Avery voiced her nervousness about moving to the high school next year, Dr. Roscoe encouraged her to try new things. He emphasized that this is a great time to try new activities, join new clubs, and make new friends. I hope she’ll listen to him because she doesn’t like hearing this stuff from us!

And he once again told Avery to make good choices. He said that some of her friends will start making poor choices in high school, and he encouraged her to be strong and make the right choices. We love how our pediatrician is concerned about all of Avery, not just her physical health!
