For the past few weeks, we’ve all been living in a new normal. Thanks to COVID-19, our regular lives have been put on hold, including work, school, extracurricular activities, sports, and visiting friends and loved ones. We have avoided all contact with anyone outside our house, except for a few fast food dinners and one Kroger ClickList pickup!

Overall, the four of us have adjust well to our new lives. Chris has been working at home for 12 business days. The kids got a week off from school (which included two elearning days) followed by their regular two-week spring break. (We’re finishing the first week of break today.) And I’ve managed to stay busy with work from my regular clients.

Besides working and doing some school worksheets, we’ve also filled our time with games, movies, puzzles, playing outside, reading, and, yes, being alone because every once in awhile, we all need to be by ourselves! We saw several suggestions online to have the kids create a diary of this experience since it’s really a historical event in the making. So here are their thoughts from today. Hopefully we will be able to provide a few more video diaries as we approach the end of this quarantine.
