Since the whole famn damily was together for Easter yesterday, all nine of us watched Purdue win its Elite Eight game. While we’re happy to see an Indiana team and a Big Ten team reach the Final Four, we didn’t want it to be Purdue. I will be curious to see what happens when Purdue plays NC State on Saturday, first for the result of the game and second to find out if Chris and Damon can root for the Boilermakers!
Grandpa now has the best chance to win our family pool, despite his current third place in the rankings. If Purdue reaches the final game and UConn doesn’t win the whole thing, then Grandpa gets the trophy. But as long as UConn wins the final game, then Avery wins the trophy. Grandma has the slimmest of chances to win the pool. That will happen only if NC State reaches the championship game and UConn doesn’t win the final game. The rest of us are watching from the sidelines.
