We had another successful doctor’s appointment today! The doctor asked Avery if she would help her find Pez’s heartbeat. I can report that Dr. Avery has very a good bedside manner. She was gentle and didn’t have any problems finding Pez and his strong heartbeat, which was between 146 and 150 bpm.
The doctor confirmed that Pez is still head down. Stay that way, boy!
Then the doctor notified us that she will be on vacation from the end of next week until July 7. So it’s very likely that she won’t deliver Pez. I’m a little disappointed, but I’d be very happy if her partner in the practice delivered Pez. If Pez arrives on a weekend, chances are good that a doctor I’ve never met will be in the delivery room because my doctor’s practice shares weekend call with another practice.
My doctor asked if I wanted to be induced if Pez didn’t arrive by my due date. I told her that I really don’t want to be induced if I can help it. Let’s just pray that Pez arrives on his own…on or before my due date!
