Welcome to Tuesday!
Each morning, Avery gets her bib and tray ready for breakfast.
This morning’s breakfast was “Rice Kispies” and milk. Open wide!
I’m so glad that I can wear casual shirts, capris and sandals to work.
After dropping off Avery with my parents for the day, I arrived at work around 8:30 a.m.
Here are the views from my desk at work. The projects I worked on today included our quarterly magazine, our website, processing reports and politely harassing members who still owe fees. Sometimes I have to act like a collection agency!
I thought I had a leftover frozen lunch at work, but I was wrong. So I ate some crackers, a granola bar and a banana.
This afternoon, I also reviewed the printer’s proof of our pledge manual.
Even though I work with the world’s best co-workers in a small, quiet office, I enjoy listening to streaming radio while working.
Avery’s day with Grandma and Grandpa included Cini-minis and milk at Burger King (their Tuesday tradition), story time at the library, visiting Grandpa’s former co-worker Linda who is recovering from surgery, lunch at McDonald’s, a two-hour nap, a popsicle and lots of playtime.
Chris’ day was filled with catching up after being on vacation for a week. Also, this was his first day back in his “old” building after spending a few months in a temporary building following a fire in the office.
After work, I met Grandma, Grandpa and Avery for the exchange.
Chris beat us home from work. The first thing he does every night after getting home is his exercises. Avery likes to do exercises with him, too.
While I cooked dinner…
…Avery and Daddy played together in the playroom.
Then it was dinner time.
Chris and I ate Kung Pao chicken over rice. Avery refused to eat anything and got in trouble for spitting milk at the table.
After dinner, we cleaned up the dinner dishes then played with Avery for a little bit.
Great pictures, she is a cutie. Sounds like all of you had a good busy day.
