Here are some photos from Monday, my day off from work: I woke up alone this morning. Chris left Saturday afternoon on a business trip. He’s visiting a church in Lake Ozark, Mo., to help some of its members establish IRAs.

The first days with new family
Although Elvie and Shin-ya have been a part of our family for a few years, we hadn’t yet had the chance to meet them face-to-face and spend quality time together. But that all changed when Elvie and Shin-ya spent a
