What an exciting first round! Chris informed me that the higher seed won in 11 of the 32 games. Even if it ruins my bracket, I always love seeing the underdog win!
Believe it or not, Avery leads our family pool. This is an historical event because I’m pretty confident that she’s never led after a complete round. In fact, my Facebook memories today reminded me that during Avery’s first year in the pool (2011), she lost 14 of her Sweet Sixteen teams and three of her Final Four teams after the first round. Luckily no one has lost their championship team yet. And we’re all pretty close in points. Just 40 points separates us from top to bottom.
