An exciting Elite Eight brought about an unusual Final Four! The remaining two No. 1 seeds (Houston and Alabama) lost within hours of each other on Saturday night. And there was much rejoicing. The remaining teams are UConn, Miami (FL) (ain’t no way Miami of Ohio was making it to the Final Four!), San Diego State, and Florida Atlantic.
For our pool, Grandma is the only one with a team remaining in her bracket, so she has already claimed the trophy. Since she led the pack for the entire tournament, it’s only appropriate that she adds her name to the trophy this year. So no matter what happens in the Final Four, our pool is done!
