First day of fourth grade

Suddenly summer is over and Avery is back in school! Today is her first day of fourth grade.

I know I say this every year, but I can’t believe how big my baby is! Her cute haircut, glasses, and straighter smile seem to make her look more grown up this year.

Avery pretty much skated through third grade, thanks to a lackadaisical teacher. Here’s hoping fourth grade is a good kind of challenge for her!
