38-week doctor’s appointment

We’re one week closer to meeting Pez! Today’s appointment was with a nurse since my doctor now is on her three-week vacation. The nurse said Pez’s heartbeat is still doing great at 145 to 150 bpm. While I’ve noticed a few very minor contractions, they weren’t anything to get excited about. So I was surprised when the nurse said I’ve already progressed to 2 or 3 cm! Avery thinks Pez will arrive tonight. Maybe she knows something we don’t!
