Last night I decided that Avery desperately needed a haircut. Her hair wasn’t very full or long, but it was pretty unruly and uneven. So this morning I took her to a kiddie hair salon. She has been to the salon many times with me and her grandmas, so I was hoping that she would handle everything OK. Of course, she was stellar!
I let her take one of her babies with her. She held onto Tiny KK pretty tightly during the whole haircut.
The stylist didn’t do anything special. I just asked her to trim the hair and even it out. After the cut, the stylist offered a barrette for Avery’s hair. She happily chose a blue flower barrette.
Avery enjoyed the whole experience and already wants to get another haircut. I handled this milestone pretty well, too. And to remember the occasion, we got a tiny lock of hair for Avery’s baby book.
