Courtesy of Chris’ mom, here is a delicious, simple salad that’s perfect for these hot summer days!

Ingredients
Salad
1 pound fresh baby spinach, washed and drained
1 small red onion, diced
1 pound strawberries, sliced
1 small package sliced almonds

Dressing
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup white wine vinegar
1 cup vegetable oil
1 tablespoon poppy seeds

Preparation Instructions
Mix spinach and onion together in a large bowl. Just before serving, add strawberries and almonds. Shake dressing ingredients well and pour over salad or add to individual servings.
