Our contractor and his assistant have been working hard this week! Here are the most noticeable updates:
The tub is installed. Avery mistakenly thought she could take a bath here last night. We had to explain that while we have a new bathtub, she won’t be able to use it for a long time.
The old floor tiles were removed. The boards under the toilet were a little damaged, so they have been replaced. And a new subfloor has been installed in the whole room.
Our contractor noticed that the old exhaust fan was releasing into the area above the ceiling instead of out the roof. So to fix that, he ran some new duct work to the roof.
I think they’ve also done some work on the shower pipes, and I’m sure they’ve accomplished a lot more. But this is one of the stages where we just don’t see a lot of changes each day.
