Avery will be jumping in these leaves next year

The unseasonably warm weather we’ve experienced lately inspired Chris to mulch the leaves in our yard one more time before winter comes. Although he sometimes complains about doing yard work, I can tell that Chris really does enjoy it. Working in the yard is one of the ways he relieves stress. And he’s always so proud and satisfied when he looks at his cleanly mowed yard!

Can’t you just see Avery riding on the mower with Daddy next summer?

I sure hope this enormous pile of leaves in the backyard decomposes over the winter!
